Doc has been a senior Managing Director in the Healthcare Consumer Wellness Group within Citi’s Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory division since 2022 and is a trusted advisor to his corporate clients. The Healthcare Consumer Wellness group is comprised of the largest clients in Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, MedTech, Healthcare Services, Consumer Products and Retail.

Doc provides comprehensive corporate finance solutions for his clients in partnership with his Citi colleagues advising companies on capital structure, acquisition financing, ratings advisory and risk management (interest rate, equity and FX hedging) and treasury services. Doc has been a coverage banker responsible for the origination and deal execution in the Healthcare sector for nearly two decades. 

Prior to Citi, Doc spearheaded efforts at Scotiabank to grow their US Healthcare client franchise as a Managing Director in their Corporate Banking division and was successful in onboarding several Healthcare clients including Bristol Myers Squibb, Amgen, Baxter and IDEXX Laboratories.

Doc began his career in Investment Grade Debt Capital Markets Origination at Deutsche Bank where he covered clients across Healthcare, Aerospace, Technology, Consumer and Retail industries.  Over the course of his career he has led hundreds of billions of capital markets financings for his clients related to acquisition financing, foreign currency funding, liability management and debt refinancing activity.

Doc earned a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University with a major in Public Policy and minor in Mathematics. While at Stanford University Doc served as the VP of Business Development for BASES and raised $250K in funding and in-kind services from venture capital and corporate donations to sponsor a business plan competition to help students found technology companies.  Doc serves on the United Negro College Fund NY Leadership Council and has been a mentor with SEO Patron program as an SEO alum, Big Brothers Big Sisters Workplace Mentorship program and is actively involved with Citi recruiting and mentor opportunities.  Doc is an advocate for diversity as a core value to drive strong performance in the corporate world and was recognized as a 2024 CUP Catalyst Award Winner in recognition of his impact.  Doc is a loving husband to his wife Amie and father of two children he adores, Ruby and Kai who live in Brooklyn with their two Maine Coon cats.
