Each year, the Council of Urban Professionals (CUP) celebrates the accomplishments of “CUP Catalysts.”

CUP Catalysts are diverse change agents in Finance, Law, Media & Entertainment, Tech and Sports who are achieving extraordinary professional success while making significant and impactful contributions to their communities through volunteerism, philanthropy, board service, and mentorship.

The goal of our Catalyst program is to:

Showcase the contributions of accomplished leaders across sectors
Facilitate connections and business development among diverse professionals
Inspire young diverse professionals to achieve extraordinary success and impactful civic engagement

CUP CATALYSTS: CHANGE AGENTS OF 2024 | NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN. We invite you to nominate individuals who are creating significant change and impact in the financial services, law, media and entertainment, technology, and sports sectors.

This year’s “CUP CATALYSTS: CHANGE AGENTS OF 2024” will be acknowledged at our signature events throughout the year. We look forward to your nominations in the coming weeks!

CUP CATALYSTS: CHANGE AGENTS OF 2024 CRITERIA:

Extraordinary Professional Success

Demonstrated Commitment to Community Leadership (e.g.,
Volunteerism, Mentoring, Philanthropy)

Board Service – Nonprofit, Public or Private Sector

Finance Catalyst – Managing Director or Equivalent Title and Above

Law Catalyst – Partner at a Law Firm, Senior In-House Counsel, or a Senior Attorney in the Public Sector or Equivalent Title and Above

Media & Entertainment Catalyst: Senior Vice President or Equivalent Title and Above

Technology – Senior Vice President or Equivalent Title and Above;

Sports – Senior Vice President or Equivalent Title and Above
