Victoria Valencia
Victoria Valencia arrived at the National Football League in 2016 and is currently the head of accounting and procurement in the NFL’s Los Angeles office. She is responsible for leading the west-coast-based accounts payable team, training all users in procurement, and is a leader of change and enhancements for the financial system.
Outside of the workday, Victoria is involved in multiple programs at the NFL, including fan experience quality control and football operations compliance at NFL stadiums throughout the country. Born and raised in Santa Maria, Calif., Victoria has 15 years of experience in the sports, media, and entertainment fields.
Prior to joining the NFL, Victoria was a member of the San Diego State Athletics media relations staff where she enjoyed an unrivaled collegiate experience during her five year-stint in America’s Finest City. In her multi-faceted role, Victoria served as the assistant media director for the 2014 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, which was held at SDSU’s on-campus arena, and was the primary communications contact for several of the Aztecs’ varsity programs, helping to enhance the student-athlete experience. At the granular level, Victoria was key in coordinating all press events in the nation’s eighth-largest city.
Victoria began her career in sports radio where she worked in programming and promotions in San Diego.
Victoria holds a bachelor’s degree in media studies from San Diego State University and is an avid follower of her alma mater’s teams, which included attending the 2023 Aztec men’s basketball run in the NCAA Tournament where Victoria witnessed the Sweet 16, Elite Eight, Final Four and National Championship games.
Outside of work, you can find Victoria either eating or traveling. So far, her favorite destinations include Trinidad, Cuba, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Champagne, France. Despite disliking the term “foodie,” Victoria can be considered one as she loves to try new restaurants and food vendors.
