Tyrell Peebles

Tyrell Peebles is a Vice President within Citi’s Institutional Clients Group where he serves as a Senior Underwriter covering large Corporates in the Diversified Industrials, Packaging and Mobility Sectors. Before joining Citi, Tyrell gained valuable experience as Credit Analyst at a variety of institutions including S&P Global, Pursuit (Formerly NYBDC) and Bank ABC. 

A child of the Queensbridge Houses in Long Island City, Queens, Tyrell went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in International Finance from CUNY York College, where he was selected as a Malave Leadership Academy Fellow. Tyrell holds an MBA in Finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business and is a Level III CFA® Candidate. 

A staunch believer that increased financial literacy and exposure are critical components in narrowing the achievement and wealth gaps, and lowering recidivism rates in inner-city communities, Tyrell is an active volunteer with numerous organizations in the NYC-Metro area including iMentor, the NYC Department of Education and America Needs You. 

Tyrell currently resides in the Riverdale section of the Bronx with his loving wife Lizzette, and three children: Camryn, Jiselle and Cairo. He enjoys traveling, trying new and different cuisines, and spending time with family, especially at Citi Field to root for his beloved New York Mets.
