Sona Kim

Born and raised in NYC, Sona is an experienced marketing manager responsible for strategy and execution for the Oprah Winfrey Network in LA. By curating the go-to-market plan to drive consumer engagement and awareness for award-winning series like David Makes Man and Queen Sugar, she owns campaign implementation from ideation to execution to hit key KPIs and network ratings goals with strategically determined audience segments. Prior to that, Sona drove ad sales marketing partnerships for key network tentpoles with partners like P&G, Weight Watchers, and Amazon.

Passionate about inclusive storytelling and providing creative solutions, Sona prioritizes marketing executions that serve women of color through activations that include network grants for budding entrepreneurs. Sona holds a degree in Marketing Management from the Whitman School of Business at Syracuse University and is a proud member of Prep for Prep, a New-York based leadership development program that empowers minority students to become leaders.
