Joshua R. Sutherland

Born and raised in Randolph, MA, Joshua R. Sutherland always knew music would have a major impact on his life. After receiving a full-tuition scholarship from Berklee College of Music, it was not just a dream come true, but also confirmed what his parents had told him his entire life- that he was destined for greatness. While in school, Joshua’s love for post-production in the film industry began to grow to new heights. He quickly realized that he wanted to be the music guru in the film world. After working on a few student films at the surrounding universities, he knew his skills, talents, and voice mattered.

Shortly after he received his Bachelor of Arts in Electronic Production and Design with a minor in Africana Ethnomusicology in 2019, the pandemic unfortunately put a halt to what he thought would be an easy transition out of school. Despite this major setback, he never lost faith in his dream of working in the tv and film industry.

Joshua later stumbled upon an internship working under the Head of Sync at United Masters. This was the start of his journey in Music Supervision. As an intern, he was successful in syncing music on major networks and marketing campaigns such as ESPN, ABC, Beats by Dre, Twitch, and NBA2K. A year later, he moved to Los Angeles, California, where he worked as a Music Coordinator at the Home Box Office (HBO). He worked on shows including Issa Rae’s Rapshit, The Weeknd’s The Idol, & Adam McKaya’s Winning Time and the Emmy and Grammy award winning show Euphoria.

Joshua’s hard work throughout his career has led him to become the Senior Music Coordinator at the NFL. He enjoys being the bridge between TV, film, media, and now sports.
