Fatima Elswify

Fatima Elswify is a passionate producer that creates content with the intention to educate, elevate, and inspire. She is currently an Associate Producer at the Oprah Winfrey Network and Apple TV+ where she works on all of Oprah’s Specials, Oprah’s Book Club interviews, and other specials for OWN’s Programming. Fatima also produces for the Shade Room on a show called The Same Room which is an interview series with the mission to bridge the gap between faith and culture. 

Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Fatima grew up in a family that is active in advocating for opportunities within the black community through economic development, philanthropic services, and black media. She received her education from Spelman College with a degree in Economics and a minor in Management and Organization. Through her experience at Spelman and her experiences helping with the work her family facilitates, she has become passionate about the empowerment, representation and advancement of black people. 

She believes that her contribution to this space can be seen in her productions. 

Fatima credits her relationship with God for her success. She is always looking for ways to advance professionally with the intention to serve others. Fatima’s hobbies include hiking, brunching with friends, and spending quality time with family.
