Erika Beckles
Erika A. Beckles is a proud NYC native who hails from Harlem and has a passion for community development, arts, and social injustice. Faithfully Erika found her voice within dance and studied as a scholarship student with Dance Theater of Harlem and the Alvin Ailey School. After years of performing, Erika shifted into the corporate world working within Human Resources, Talent Acquisition and Diversity for several organizations such as Huffington Post, NBCUniversal, HBO, BuzzFeed and Disney. Erika currently serves as the Sr. Diversity Program Manager for Meta, leading global tech diversity recruiting programs and community partnerships.
Erika is passionate thought leader with extensive experience driving collaboration, culture and community engagement through her work professionally and personally. For the last ten years Erika has been an integral leader within the National Urban League movement serving as the Chapter President of the winning NY Urban League Young Professionals, Steering Committee Member for the Bay Area Urban League and currently serves on the National Executive leadership team as the Leadership, Training and Development Chair. She also serves on the board for DanceIquail and a strategic consultant for Dancers Amplified. Leveraging her previous dance experience with her professional expertise in diversity and equity work. Erika is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
