Courtney Stokes

Courtney Delicia Stokes is a Financial Management Associate at Citigroup where she is completing a leadership rotation program and is currently on special assignment with Product Control Citibanamex in Mexico. She serves as the Co-Lead of Professional Development for Citi’s Black Heritage Network, creating new opportunities for members to grow and connect professionally. Courtney joined Citi in 2019 after completing her MBA at the University of Michigan, where she focused on social entrepreneurship and studied at London School of Economics. Before returning for her MBA, she built her career in international development. Ultimately, she hopes to draw on her experiences working on Wall Street and in black communities across Latin America and Africa to address financial empowerment in urban communities in the United States. Courtney is avid about reading non-fiction books, community service, and empowering her community as an IRS-certified VITA Low-Income Tax Preparer in Newark. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Courtney speaks Spanish and completed her Bachelor’s in International Business, summa cum laude, from Howard University.
