Ariana Collado

Ariana Collado is currently the Executive Director of the Bronx Democratic County Committee, also known as The Bronx Dems. In this capacity, Ms. Collado collaborates with candidates and their staff at the federal, state, and local levels to support their electoral campaigns. Her varied responsibilities include planning, developing, and implementing strategies for sustaining and increasing participation in political and civic engagement. Her leadership in campaign activities has led to successful candidate election outcomes through voter outreach, canvassing, and media engagement. She has overseen the planning and execution of crucial events, including fundraisers, rallies, and forums, which have significantly increased the party’s visibility and impact.
Ariana previously served as Chief of Staff to New York City Council Member Andrew J. Cohen, Chair of the Consumer Affairs and Business Licensing Committees, and Chair of the Bronx Delegation. She managed the office’s daily operations, including legislation, budget, communications, and constituent services. Additionally, she was responsible for handling the office’s land use and zoning matters. Ms. Collado also served as the Bronx Delegation liaison to the New York City Council, where she helped shape and advance City budget advocacy campaigns to secure millions of dollars for organizations in the Bronx and across the city.
In her previous government roles and as Executive Director at the Bronx Dems, Ariana has played a pivotal role in bridging the gap exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic by bringing resources to communities in the Bronx and across the city. She organized dozens of food giveaways, PPE distributions, and helped connect vulnerable populations to the resources they most needed.
Ariana earned a BA in Political Science from the City University of New York (CUNY) at Lehman College, where she graduated magna cum laude. She holds a Juris Doctor degree from CUNY School of Law and is an admitted attorney in New York State. She is also a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society.
Additionally, Ariana is a board member of the Bronx chapter of 100 Hispanic Women, where she contributes to initiatives to empower Hispanic women through education and professional development.
A proud lifelong Bronxite, Ariana resides in the Northeast Bronx with her husband and two dogs.
