Angela Griffin
Angela Griffin is a corporate event planner with the Match Group, where she designs innovative programs that focus on employee engagement and celebrations nationwide. Her extensive background in event sales and production spans from boutique hotels to Universal Studios Hollywood, the world’s largest working movie studio and theme park. Notably, during her lengthy tenure with Universal, Angela secured one of the highest revenue-generating contracts for special events.
In addition to her professional achievements, Angela volunteers at Helping Hands, a neighborhood food bank that serves in partnership with a historic African American church in the Inland Empire. She aims to expand this program through partnerships with local farmers, community gardens, and other non-profit organizations.
As a CUP Fellow, Angela is eager to build and enhance her leadership skills, learn best practices for philanthropic endeavors, and collaborate with diverse group leaders.
As a LA native, Angela enjoys the city’s diverse food scene. In addition to frequenting her favorite Mediterranean, Japanese or Mexican eateries, Angela is planning her next travel adventure! Her favorite destinations are Italy, Argentina and Hawaii.
