Rashida K. La Lande

Rashida K. La Lande is a partner in the New York office of Gibson Dunn. Ms. La Lande is an expert in mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, private equity deals and joint ventures. She is a Hiring Partner for the NYC office and a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee and Professional Development Committee. Ms. La Lande received her Juris Doctor from Columbia University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College. Ms. La Lande is a member of the Corporations Law Committee of the NYC Bar, on the National Advisory Committee for A Better Chance, the secretary and member of the board for Democracy Prep Endurance Charter School and an Ambassador for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture. Her pro bono clients include The Brotherhood/Sister Sol, Publicolor and Riverside Park Conservancy. She is an active mentor for junior attorneys across the city.
