CitiAs the Global COO/Managing Director of Corporate Banking at Citigroup, Paul L. Burroughs Jr. is responsible for driving improvements in client planning, talent strategy, resource management, organizational change and issue remediation.
Paul has also covered the Global Paper and Packaging and Diversified Industrials Franchise, supporting global multi-national, Fortune 500 clients with originating new business focused on corporate finance solutions. His areas of expertise include capital raising, risk management, structured solutions and strategic advice.
He is active on the Mentor National Board of Trustees, former board member of the Young Scholar’s institute and plays an integral part in the diversity and inclusion efforts within financial services. Paul also serves as Co-Head of the Diversity Operating Committee within the Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory Group. He is a founding member of Black Leaders for Tomorrow, a steering committee member for the Black Affinity Employee Network, and always makes time to mentor employees seeking professional guidance or support. In addition, Paul volunteers with non-profit organizations that address racial inequity and health disparities within underserved communities.
Paul earned both a BA degree, with Honors, in accounting and a MBA, concentration in Finance from Rider University.
He lives in Bucks County, PA with his wife and daughter.
