Patrick Vatel

Patrick Vatel is Managing Director at BNY Mellon. He serves as head of the Asset Servicing Credit Management Group, which is responsible for business credit strategy and sponsoring credit transactions for a multi-billion dollar portfolio. Patrick also serves as head of Latin America and Caribbean Asset Servicing. He served as Chief of Staff for U.S. Securities Services.

Previously, Patrick led several U.S. institutional banking divisions within The Bank of New York, serving as head of Northeast Corporate Banking and Endowments & Foundations Banking. He began his career as a healthcare banker and joined BNY in 1998 as a management associate.

Patrick holds degrees from The University of Chicago and Columbia University.

He is Chair of Mentoring for IMPACT, BNY Mellon’s multicultural Employee Resource Group. Patrick serves on the board of directors of United Neighborhood Houses, New York City Mission Society, and The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A.
