Maria del Pilar Avila

Maria del Pilar Avila, Chief Executive Officer, New America Alliance has earned a strong reputation as a business and civic leader.  As CEO of the New America Alliance, she leads the mission of building on American Latino success while bringing diverse leaders and communities together to forge a stronger America.  Under her leadership, NAA has launched signature programs such as the NAA Wall Street Summit, now in its 15th year; the Pension Fund Initiative which has opened access to billions of dollars for diverse asset managers; and the American Latina Leadership Caucus, accelerating the leadership of Latinas across sectors. 

Previously, Pilar served as Palladium Equity Partners Vice President and was part of the team that raised a historic Hispanic market investment fund of $780 million in 2006.

Pilar now serves as Vice Chair of the Board of ConPRmetidos, a Puerto Rican millennial-led think and do tank, and as a member of advisory boards of Banc of California and the Latino Donor Collaborative. 

Pilar earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Hospitality Management from the University of Central Florida.
