Gloria Kim
Managing Director
JPMorganGloria Kim is a Managing Director at JPMorgan, where she joined in 1997. She is the Head of the Global Index Research Group, which is responsible for the development, strategy, marketing, and overall management of developed and emerging markets indices for the investment bank globally. In addition, she partners with Credit, Rates, Commodities, Equity Derivatives businesses across the bank on index initiatives. Some of the flagship indices include, the Emerging Markets Bond Indices (EMBI), the Government Bond Indices (GBI), Emerging Markets corporate indices (CEMBI). J.P. Morgan’s global index franchise has ranked in the top 3 in U.S. and European Institutional Investor surveys and EM fixed income family of indices currently enjoys over 90% market share in client following.
Gloria previously worked in JPMorgan’s Asset Management division as a Marketing associate, where she managed the Investment Advisor Services platform to promote the firm’s mutual fund business. Prior to joining JPMorgan, Gloria worked at Bankers Trust within Investment Banking and Investment Management.
She received her B.S. from Cornell University and her MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
Gloria Kim previously served at the Korean American Community Foundation, a philanthropic organization within the Asian community, providing grants and capacity-building assistance to Korean American charity organizations. She also volunteers as an interpreter for a Korean American church, providing simultaneous translation for the English speaking congregation.
