Gizelle is global chief operating officer of Global Investment Research (GIR) at Goldman Sachs (GS). In this role, Gizelle partners closely with the head of GIR and divisional leaders to oversee and manage the careers of over 1,000 people in 25 countries around the world and implement operational strategy that enables the production of analytically ambitious investment research to service the firm’s clients.

In addition, Gizelle has been a significant contributor to thought leadership on racial equality. Her work can be found in the research report, Top of Mind: Investing in Racial Economic Equality, as well as Black Womenomics, which is the foundation of GS’s inclusive growth initiative One Million Black 

Women (OMBW). She serves as co-head of the GS New York/New Jersey chapter of the of the Firmwide Black Network and is a member of the OMBW Steering Council and the Goldman Sachs Market Madness: HBCU Possibilities working group. She is also a member of the GS Firmwide Conduct Committee.

Earlier in her career, Gizelle held a number of roles in GIR and Human Capital Management at GS. She joined GS in 2005 and was named managing director in 2017.

Gizelle earned a BS in Business Management from South Carolina State University and an MS in Clinical Psychology from Georgia Southern University.
