India Alston
India Alston is a native of Washington, DC, currently residing in Los Angeles since 2019. She is Founder of BRND BLZR, an AI-powered marketplace for custom product design and purchase and is also Founder of Beam Creative House, specializing in entertainment, tech, social impact marketing and production endeavors. She has conceptualized, produced and managed the execution of National award-winning campaigns for brands and media enterprises seeking to reach multicultural audiences. Her most recent campaigns include HOORAE X Walmart’s Black & Unlimited Digital Development Program; AT&T’s Dream in Black and the 2020 US Census. She also previously worked and lived abroad in Denmark and Jordan, leading the production and marketing of digital comic books, mobile games and apps for the Middle Eastern Market. There she co-produced a 5-book comic series for Saudi Arabia’s first super heroine, Latifa!
As a producer, India’s experience spans across short form social content, short films, TV pilots, music videos and currently has a docuseries, medical TV drama and musical feature film in development!
Her passion centers on growing the National creator economy, giving creatives access to the information, tools and networks that develop their skills and facilitate their upward mobility. She believes that collaboration is the key to productivity and the advancement of innovation and is building a platform where creators can do this at scale. She received her B.A. in African & African American Studies from Stanford University and her Executive master’s in leadership from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
In her free time, India enjoys staying active in her kickball and softball leagues, playing PS5, gathering in the park or at the beach with friends, or hosting a laid-back game night!
