Dr. Nina Grace Shelby
Dr. Nina Grace Shelby is a native of Chicago, IL, and currently resides in South Pasadena, CA. Her professional career is centered on serving as a bridge between her passion for STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and community outreach and education for the Microsoft Corporation.
Her academic journey is a testament to her thirst for knowledge and intellectual prowess. Dr. Shelby earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the HBCU Wiley College, followed by the attainment of a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from the distinguished Graziadio Business School at Pepperdine University. She further ascended the pinnacle of scholarly achievement by earning her Ph.D. in Global Leadership and Change from the esteemed Graduate School of Education and Psychology at Pepperdine University.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Shelby ardently devotes her spare moments to uplifting her community. As an esteemed member of several advisory boards within the Los Angeles Community, she spearheads initiatives that drive positive transformation. Presently, she graces the role of Vice President of Operations for the esteemed National Black MBA Association, LA Chapter, an organization ardently devoted to empowering and cultivating educational and economic growth for African Americans.
Her altruistic spirit extends further as she serves on the Advisory Board for the noble Hike to Yoga Non-profit organization, channeling her passion for fostering physical and mental well-being. Additionally, she plays a pivotal role in leading professional development for the Los Angeles Urban League Young Professionals, empowering the next generation of leaders.
