Purnima Puri

Purnima Puri is a Partner and founding member of Highbridge Principal Strategies and is the Portfolio Manager for the Highbridge Credit Opportunities Fund and the Highbridge Leveraged Loan Fund. Purnima is a member of the Senior Loan Fund and Mezzanine Fund Investment Committees as well as the HPS Credit Committee.

Prior to joining HPS in 2007, Purnima was a Principal at Redwood Capital Management, a credit opportunities hedge fund. Before joining Redwood, she was with Goldman Sachs for five years on both the Credit Arbitrage Desk, a proprietary trading desk at Goldman Sachs, and in the Principal Investment Area. From 1993 to 1995, Purnima was part of Lazard Frères’ Restructuring and Mergers and Acquisitions Group.

Purnima received a BA in Mathematics from Northwestern University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

She is a member of the Mount Sinai Hospital Children’s Center Foundation Board and lives in New York City with her husband and four children.
