Christine Gonzalez

Christine Posadas has been a devoted volunteer for most of her life and conscious of the many needs her community has. Having volunteered at several nonprofits, her passion grew in helping others. Her career in nonprofits began in Expanded Learning right out of high school and through college. She is currently the Program Associate for Specialized Projects at L.A. Work’s Retired Senior Volunteer Program.

Her current focus lies in creating a space for intergenerational connections between retired professionals and youth in underserved communities who are looking to develop their professional skills for greater opportunities in the workforce.

Christine graduated from Pacific Oaks College with her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development with a concentration in Social Change. She recently completed her Master of Arts in Nonprofit Management at Antioch University Los Angeles while finishing her credentials to be a Certified Nonprofit Professional.

Christine has worked in management, program and staff development, program start-ups, and coordinating. Christine’s love of animals and passion for helping others has developed to an aspiration to one day create a space that brings together seniors in need of companionship, rescued dogs, and children with a passion for literacy.
