Monika N. Caraballo
Monika Caraballo is from Bridgeport, Connecticut. She grew up one of five kids in a busy single-parent home where she spent much of her time taking care of her brother Carlos who was physically disabled. Because of this, Monika has a special passion for humanitarianism and has since gone on to work with various at-risk groups such as adults in recovery, victims of domestic violence, adults with mental disabilities, and has taught ESL to help people towards earning their citizenship.
Monika believes that the best way to create real impact in the world is to empower local communities through job development, resources, and education, which is why after earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication from Southern Connecticut State University she decided to pursue her Master’s Degree at the Marshall School of Business, specializing in Social Entrepreneurship, from the University of Southern California.
Monika enjoys painting, pinning recipes on Pinterest, and spending time with her family and friends.
