Jomaire Crawford-Booth
Jomaire Crawford Booth is a senior associate at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP. She specializes in complex commercial litigation and white collar investigations with a focus on securities and antitrust lawsuits, breach of contract disputes, cross-border criminal and regulatory enforcement proceedings, anti-money laundering compliance, Swiss data protection, and Swiss bank secrecy.
Jomaire also maintains an active pro bono practice with representations that include serving as lead counsel in a civil rights lawsuit involving federal constitutional claims, obtaining asylum for a political and human rights activist fleeing persecution in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and defending a high-profile client in Bronx Criminal Court on charges of suspected robbery.
Given her commitment to public service, Jomaire has served as a board member or pro bono legal counsel for several organizations, including the New York Legal Assistance Group, Federal Bar Counsel, the Metropolitan Black Bar Association, the National Black Law Students Association, and Mindful Harlem, Inc. Jomaire is also a member of the New York City Bar Association, the Association of Black Women Attorneys, the Advancement Initiative, and the Apollo Young Patrons.
Jomaire earned her law degree from Yale Law School and received her undergraduate degree in English, summa cum laude, from St. John’s. Among her recent honors includes being named to the “Power 100” list of influential black attorneys, and St. John’s Alumni “10-Under-10” Rising Stars Award for her pro bono practice and commitment to diversity in the profession.
