Ravieschwar Guru Singh
Guru Singh is an associate at Cooley LLP, where he counsels innovative, high-growth private companies and start-ups in corporate and finance matters. Prior to Cooley, he was an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, where he advised a mix of clients from systematically important financial institutions to sovereign central banks on general corporate, finance, bank regulatory and derivatives matters. He graduated from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law on a full-tuition scholarship. Prior to law school he served as a New York City Urban Fellow in the Administration of Mayor Michael Bloomberg in the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications, working with the chief-of-staff and senior officials on a variety of projects including broadband expansion in the City. He graduated from Vanderbilt University on a full-tuition scholarship through the Posse Foundation.
He is currently serving as the chair of the “Launching Your Career” subcommittee within the Diversity Pipeline Initiatives Committee at the New York City Bar. He was born and raised in Brooklyn and is a proud supporter of the Brooklyn Public Library system.
