Jatae Daly

Jatae Daly is a proud Bronx native who earned both her BA in Journalism and Business and MA in Educational Leadership, Politics, and Advocacy from New York University. She currently works as an Associate Director for the College Bound Initiative, a comprehensive college access program of the Student Leadership Network. In her role, she leads a team of nine Directors of College Counseling, providing support, professional development, and thought-partnership to them as they guide students in their respective schools towards postsecondary pathways. Prior to this role, Jatae served as the inaugural Director of College Counseling at the Urban Assembly School for Applied Math and Science, where she was responsible for developing and implementing all aspects of the college-going culture and guided over 300 students to college. With over ten years of experience in college access and enrichment programs, Jatae continues to serve in roles that support and uplift her community.

In addition to her work, Jatae is the Professional Development Co-Chair on the executive board of the New York State Association for College Admission Counseling (NYSACAC). In this role, she is responsible for planning and executing professional development forums for high school and college admissions counseling professionals across New York State. She has taken on leadership roles on the African Diaspora Special Interest Group, Steering Committee, and Nominating Committee to deepen her engagement in the association.

Outside of her work and volunteer commitments, Jatae enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
