Jacques L. Sexton – Co-Chair

Jacques has practiced for Vault 25 firms in New York since 2013 after a career in finance in California and Delaware as a trusted advisor  to  clients  ranging  from  individuals  to  business  lines, operating organizations, and endowments.

He has been certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals   (CIPP-US;   IAPP),   the   Alliance   of   Mergers   and Acquisition   Advisors   (CM&AA;   AM&AA),   and   the   American Bankers Association (CTFA; ABA). He is licensed to practice law in NY and previously held an insurance license in Delaware.

Jacques  is  passionate,  lifelong  advocate  for  the  under-served and under-represented. He has served on the non-profit boards of  community  service  organizations  throughout  his  career  on both coasts. He is currently a leader of two of New York City’s most  impactful  diverse  professional  organizations,  the  Council for   Urban   Professionals   and   the   Metropolitan   Black   Bar Association Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Section.

Jacques earned his J.D. from Howard University School of Law, where  he  was  a  Thurgood  Marshall  Scholar,  member  of  the Huver I. Brown Trial Advocacy Team, and CALI award recipient. He earned his B.A. from Morehouse College, cum laude. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.
