Steven Wolfe Pereira is the Executive Vice President at MediaVest, where he leads the agency’s Innovation, Commerce and Technology practice helping clients accelerate their business. In addition, Wolfe serves as Managing Director of MediaVest’s multicultural marketing unit MediaVest Multicultural, where he leads one of the largest agencies focused on African-American, Asian and Hispanic consumers in the U.S. Wolfe serves on MediaVest’s Executive Committee and Starcom MediaVest Group’s Global Management Group. Prior to MediaVest, Wolfe served as Vice President of Partnership Marketing at Univision Communications Inc. Previously, he was a Portfolio Manager overseeing technology investments at Platinum Partners, a multi-strategy investment fund. Wolfe began his career in investment banking and private equity, working at The Blackstone Group, Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup) and Violy, Byorum & Partners. He graduated cum laude with Highest Thesis Honors from Tufts University with a BA in International Relations. A Fulbright Scholar, Wolfe completed the Greater Boston Executive MBA Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management. A passionate supporter of education as well as Multicultural causes, Wolfe founded the annual Multicultural Media Talent Pipeline during Advertising Week to bring multicultural college students to New York City to learn about the media business. He serves on the board of directors of the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), Sponsors for Educational Opportunity (SEO) and the Tufts University Communications and Media Studies (CMS) program.
