Mustafa Topiwalla is a Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Corporate Banking at RBC Capital Markets (RBCCM).  Prior to joining RBCCM in 2007, he worked at Societe Generale and Citigroup.

Mustafa is a Co-Chair of RBCCM’s U.S. Multicultural Employee Alliance (MEA), which plays a pivotal role in recruiting, developing and retaining a diverse employee base. MEA achieves its diversity and inclusion goals by hosting well-attended, high-profile Heritage Month events, organizing community outreach initiatives and being actively involved in recruiting efforts.

Mustafa is also an active contributor in the community, with a particular focus on youth initiatives.  He has supported RBC’s Race for the Kids, The Indika Alliance and a developing world scholarship fund for Middlebury College.

Mustafa received a BA in Economics from Middlebury College and MBA with honors in Finance from Columbia Business School. Mustafa lives in New York City with his wife Melissa Connor, and daughters Layla and Yasmeen.

 

As Co-Chair of RBC Capital Markets’ U.S. Multicultural Employee Alliance (MEA), Mustafa Topiwalla has been at the forefront of championing diversity and inclusion at the firm. Under Mustafa’s leadership, MEA has increased its visibility and impact by significantly increasing its membership to over 400 employees, collaborating with clients on numerous high-profile events, and playing a more active role in RBC’s recruiting efforts.
