Martez R. Moore is the Chairman & CEO of Moore Frères & Company, LLC, a technology, media, and telecom investment firm that acquires and transforms companies undergoing strategic and operational inflection points. Most recently, Mr. Moore was an Executive Vice President of VIACOM Inc., where he had both P&L and strategy responsibilities, overseeing organic growth strategies, business acquisitions, and new business formations for one of its divisions.
Previously, Mr. Moore was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, a leading international strategy consulting firm, focused on advising Fortune 500 companies across a range of different industries. Prior to joining McKinsey, Mr. Moore was a principal with TSG Capital Group, a private equity fund with nearly $1 billion under management that focused on making control leveraged investments, Indosuez Capital, a leading merchant bank, and Morgan Stanley & Company’s M&A Department. Mr. Moore has also worked at The White House as a Political Affairs aide.
Mr. Moore received his J.D. from The University of Pennsylvania Law School as a Sweeney B. Scholar and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Loyola University of Chicago where he was a Presidential Scholar and Rhodes Scholar finalist. Mr. Moore lives in Manhattan with his wife and two daughters.
