Nadia Raphael

Nadia Raphael is a first-generation Trinidadian-American, professional marketer and a Lead Product Development & Marketing Manager at Verizon. She also serves as the Communications Lead for Verizon’s Black Original Leaders & Doers (BOLD) employee resource group. With a passion for serving and empowering her community, Nadia is a mentor for the National Black MBA Association-NYC Leaders of Tomorrow Program (LOT). 

As a Lead Development & Marketing Manager, Nadia spearheads and owns the product development and marketing efforts behind three product lines: Device Application Messaging, Internal Chatbot, and Direct Carrier Billing. Most recently, she led a team of 5 focused on educating the market on Verizon’s value proposition through the daily execution and management of all marketing programs leveraging multiple omni channels, such as social media, websites, mobile apps, and print/TV ads. She’s accomplished orchestrating the development of a new product from concept to market entry that achieved 85% ROI within the first five months of launch. 

In addition to Nadia’s daily task, she leads the communications efforts for BOLD, where she manages and executes visual communications used across mediums such as social media, webinars, conferences and events. Passionate about serving her community, Nadia mentors African American and LatinX high school students by providing them with awareness, education, and information about the economic, financial, and social advantages of graduating from high school and matriculating through college and into the workforce. Beyond excitement, Nadia is dedicated and committed to sharing her time and knowledge to enhancing the personal and professional lives of each high school student she encounters through the NBMBAA-NYC LOT mentorship program. 

Nadia earned her MBA from University of Rochester, Simon Business School in Marketing, Organizational & Competitive Strategy and Brand Management as a Consortium Fellow. She received her BA in Accounting and Finance from Clark Atlanta University, where she was a National Association Black Accountant (NABA) and Deloitte scholarship recipient. 

Nadia resides in the New Jersey area and in her free time, you can find her competing in fitness competitions, traveling internationally and eating cuisines from across the globe.
