Kendall J. Coleman

Kendall J. Coleman is a passionate and creative leader committed to inclusion, access, and career development for historically underrepresented communities. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York his recognition of socioeconomic inequities fueled his passion for supporting communities in need.

In 2021 Kendall joined the global Diversity & Inclusion team at the LEGO Group. As the D&I Lead for the Americas, he works interdepartmentally to improve representation and create an environment of belonging. He incorporates LEGO® Brand Values of imagination, creativity, learning, quality, caring and fun to foster inclusion and inspire the builders of tomorrow.

Prior to the LEGO Group, Kendall worked as the Community Impact Manager for Charter Communications (Spectrum), managing partnerships with non-profit organizations supporting underserved communities in Spectrum’s footprint. In 2020, Kendall led the development and launch of Spectrum Scholars, the company’s signature scholarship initiative. The program awarded 20 Black/African American, Latinx, Asian, and Native students with scholarships, professional development, mentoring, and early career opportunities. Kendall began his career with NBCUniversal where he spent 6 years working on D&I and digital transformation projects in the News division. 

Kendall is an active member of the Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America (LEDA), an organization that empowers young leaders from under-resourced backgrounds. Since joining in 2006 as a scholar, Kendall served as a career coach, corporate sponsor, and an Alumni Task Force member. Kendall graduated from Vassar College in 2011 with a BA in Economics and Africana studies.
