Jocelyn Cruz

Based in Los Angeles, Jocelyn Cruz is a marketing enthusiast with a passion for multicultural audiences, film and music. Currently, she is a manager in the Multicultural Marketing Department at Paramount Pictures. 

A first-generation college graduate, Jocelyn obtained her B.A.S in Communications at The University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. While at The University of Toledo, she was the first Latinx Homecoming Queen to represent a Non-Greek organization called the Latino Student Union. She also served as a mentor for 3 years during her undergrad and hosted many on-campus events. Jocelyn finished her last college semester in New York City while interning at BET for their popular television show, “106 & Park” and for their former President of Programming, Stephen Hill. 6 

After graduation, Jocelyn became the first Latinx “Face of FOX Toledo” for FOX Toledo News. After fulfilling her role as a FOX Entertainment Reporter, Jocelyn moved on to work for TRUTH on the Vans Warped Tour. She worked as a field marketer for TRUTH’s non-tobacco smoking campaign to help spread awareness to teens. After tour ended, Jocelyn made the move to Los Angeles in November 2012. In April 2013, she landed her first entertainment job as a Studio Page at Paramount Pictures. After 11 months in the Page Program, Jocelyn landed her first job as an assistant to Rob Moore, the Vice Chairman of the studio. 

Jocelyn has been with Paramount Pictures for 7.5 years and is currently a manager in the Multicultural Marketing Department. She also devotes her time to the Latinx Employee Resource Group, “SOMOS” to plan Hispanic Heritage Month events. Jocelyn hopes to bring her experiences working with multicultural audiences to a high-level executive role later in her career. 

Jocelyn believes music is a great unifier and incorporates it in key areas in her personal and professional lives. She also loves to write, play basketball and is using her Covid time to step up her Spanish skills.
