Al Ramos is a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley in Wealth Management Technology based in New York.  He is head of Wealth Management Reliability Operations responsible for technology support services and solutions across Wealth Management and Banking Technology.  Al Ramos joined Morgan Stanley in August 2015 and has 30+ years of industry experience building, managing and directing technology organizations.  In addition, Al Ramos is the Co-Chair for the Race and Ethnic Diversity (RED) in Technology employee network focused on the recruitment, retention and recognition for racially and diverse talent within Technology and a member of the Diversity Advisory Council across Technology, Operations and Firm Resilience. 

In 2020 and 2021, Al was recognized by the Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC) recognizing the nation’s most influential Hispanics in the technology industry.

Prior to joining the firm, Al Ramos worked at Bank of America where he was Business Technology Executive responsible for Digital Banking Technology Operations in support of 48 million digital banking clients and across multiple retail channels.   Prior to Bank of America, Al Ramos worked at American International Group (AIG) where he was Senior Information Officer responsible for Insurance Underwriting and Compliance application architecture, development and application support.  Al Ramos has a Master’s in Business Administration from New York Institute of Technology and completed an executive education business operations program from the University of Michigan- Ross School of Business.
