Seth Steed is an Assistant District Attorney in the Conviction Integrity Unit of the Bronx County District Attorney's Office, where he investigates claims of actual innocence and wrongful conviction. Seth has served as Appellate Counsel in the Criminal Appeals Bureau of The Legal Aid Society and as a Staff Attorney with the Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem.

Born and raised in East Harlem, Seth graduated from Swarthmore College and Washington and Lee University School of Law. Currently, Seth is the chair of the board of the New Amsterdam Boys and Girls Choir. Until recently, Seth served as the founding president of the Arturo Schomburg Democratic Club, an organization formed to increase civic engagement in the Upper East Side, East and Central Harlem communities. Seth also managed a successful Harlem Little League team for six seasons.
