Dwight Yoo is a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. His practice focuses on capital markets and insurance-related corporate transactions. Representative experience includes the $2.6 billion initial public offering of Zoetis Inc., the largest IPO to date in 2013; the IPO of BankUnited, Inc., a transaction noted by The Financial Times in its U.S. Innovative Lawyers report; the inaugural securities offering by Wilton Re Holdings; and medium-term note programs established by life insurers with over $25 billion of issuances under such programs. Mr. Yoo is active in support of Asian-American causes, including the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) and the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF), and serves as a leader of Skadden’s Asian American affinity group. He is also committed to pro bono service, and twice received The Legal Aid Society Pro Bono Award for Outstanding Service for his representation of low-income tenants in New York City Housing Authority matters. Mr. Yoo received his B.A. from Yale University and his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
