Austin So is Division General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Board Member of Heraeus, a Fortune Global 500 manufacturing conglomerate with $23 billion in revenues. Prior to Heraeus, Austin practiced both litigation and corporate law at top New York law firms.
He is currently Executive Director of the Don H. Liu Scholars Program, which supports Asian American law students in need, and a board member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. Austin is also a past board member of the Korean American League for Civic Action, which encourages civic participation, and the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York.
Austin actively supports numerous other diversity efforts, recently participating in a “Lunch with a General Counsel” auction to help raise money for the Metropolitan Black Bar Association’s scholarship program. He also mentors many young attorneys of diverse backgrounds.
Austin received his A.B. from Harvard and his J.D. from Penn Law.
